Using Canvas to Support Face-to-Face Instruction

Learn to use Canvas as a teaching tool to support and enhace your face-to-face classes. Engage in a series of live workshops and earn a professional development certificate from the Faculty Center.

Bring Your Own Course (BYOC) is a new series offered by the Faculty Center to provide you with hands-on experiences setting up and improving your courses in Canvas. 

During the first 10–15 minutes of these virtual workshops, we’ll examine practical best practices for a specific aspect of Canvas. Then each person will work on that aspect of their Canvas course in a breakout room, with the facilitator rotating between rooms. Followed by a wrap-up session.

If you complete the session and both the pre- and post-surveys, you will receive a certificate of participation.
