Established in 2021, the Virtua Health College of Medicine & Life Sciences of Rowan University is an historic new academic health partnership between Rowan University, a top 100 public research institution, and Virtua Health, South Jersey’s largest health system. 

Our broad approach creates a college within the University to achieve a comprehensive integration of medical, nursing, health and wellness professions education, clinical care and research. From undergraduate through post-doctoral programs and clinical care, the Rowan-Virtua partnership is extraordinary.

Rowan, Virtua Health and community partners celebrate new research center

Rowan University marked a major milestone in its research enterprise as leaders from Rowan, Virtua Health and local government gathered to cut the ribbon on the new Virtua Health College Research Center, an advanced facility designed to accelerate biomedical discovery and innovation in South Jersey.
