Fixed opening Text Area (may go away ??)
It is fixed...you can't move it. It just sits here waiting for text.
We wash our brush with odorless thinner. But they're very easily killed. Clouds are delicate. Working it up and down, back and forth.
Isn't that fantastic? You can just push a little tree out of your brush like that. Let's have a nice tree right here. No worries. No cares. Just float and wait for the wind to blow you around.
La- da- da- da- dah. Just be happy. You can spend all day playing with mountains. Nice little fluffy clouds laying around in the sky being lazy.
Let's make a nice big leafy tree. I'm sort of a softy, I couldn't shoot Bambi except with a camera. Just a happy little shadow that lives in there. And I know you're saying, 'Oh Bob, you've done it this time.' And you may be right. Work that paint.
Feature Boxes (these are "standard")
This text must exist or Cascade won't let you save! You can put links here, bulleted lists, but probably shouldn't add another photo
All "standard" features MUST include a heading, a link, an image, and text. Don't want all of that? See "full background" features.
Wrong shaped picture here!
body text here and there
"Full background" features are really just a way of giving you columns. These don't "wrap." You need to make sure that they are just distinct columns of information. For instance, you might have a list of links for students in this one:
- linky
- linky
- linky
And another list of links for Faculty or prospective students
- linky
- linky
- linky
These are for a series of images with text (Image/text combos).
For instance, the planetarium lists all their potential shows (not just the ones currently running) and so they use this to have a picture and a description of each show. It keeps things orderly and prevents the text from wrapping around the picture or running into the next item.
The secret to doing anything is believing that you can do it. Anything that you believe you can do strong enough, you can do. Anything. As long as you believe. You don't want to kill all your dark areas they are very important. Nice little fluffy clouds laying around in the sky being lazy. Work that paint. Let all these things just sort of happen. Making all those little fluffies that live in the clouds.
Notice how nicely these break and even though the images don't match in size, each block displays nicely.
This is probably the greatest thing to happen in my life - to be able to share this with you. Let the paint work. Working it up and down, back and forth. We don't need any guidelines or formats. All we need to do is just let it flow right out of us. Get tough with it, get strong.
Just take out whatever you don't want. It'll change your entire perspective. No worries. No cares. Just float and wait for the wind to blow you around. If we're gonna walk though the woods, we need a little path. Absolutely no pressure. You are just a whisper floating across a mountain. The only thing worse than yellow snow is green snow.
If you don't think every day is a good day - try missing a few. You'll see. Steve wants reflections, so let's give him reflections. I thought today we would do a happy little picture.
There is immense joy in just watching - watching all the little creatures in nature. This piece of canvas is your world. That's a crooked tree. We'll send him to Washington. The little tiny Tim easels will let you down.
This is a bunch of Bob Ross Lorem Ipsum in an Accordion
Accordions are great for:
- FAQs
- Consolidating a bunch of short pages into one page without making the page too long.
- Pulling together, in one page, tons of info that really belongs together, but really looks too long for one page.
All about the big strong tree
Reflecting on reflections

If what you're doing doesn't make you happy - you're doing the wrong thing. In this world, everything can be happy. That's what makes life fun. That you can make these decisions. That you can create the world that you want.Isn't that fantastic that you can create an almighty tree that fast? Just let your mind wander and enjoy. This should make you happy. That's crazy. If you overwork it you become a cloud killer. There's nothing worse than a cloud killer. Making all those little fluffies that live in the clouds.
All you have to do is let your imagination go wild. We tell people sometimes: we're like drug dealers, come into town and get everybody absolutely addicted to painting. It doesn't take much to get you addicted. All you have to learn here is how to have fun. Maybe there was an old trapper that lived out here and maybe one day he went to check his beaver traps, and maybe he fell into the river and drowned.
Tree trunks grow however makes them happy. I was blessed with a very steady hand; and it comes in very handy when you're doing these little delicate things. Let's put some happy little bushes on the other side now. Just think about these things in your mind and drop em' on canvas. Let your heart take you to wherever you want to be.
A happy cloud. If you've been in Alaska less than a year you're a Cheechako. Let's make some happy little clouds in our world. Let's go up in here, and start having some fun Be brave.
