Biography
Michelle Mignot has been working in higher education since 2006. Starting at a community college in Ontario, Canada, Michelle worked on a summer jobs program for students, as a Career Advisor, and as a Program Coordinator for an online program for adult learners.
After moving to the Philadelphia area, Michelle worked as a Co-op Coordinator and Assistant Teaching Professor at Drexel University. In these roles, Michelle published a journal article and was accepted to a national conference for her work on contemporary resumes for students in creative fields. In addition, she created an online career resources guide for LGBTQ+ students.
Michelle is now an Academic Advisor at Rowan University, working as part of the Rowan Global team on the 3+1 Program at RCBC Mount Laurel. Michelle enjoys working with the 3+1 students as they transition from the community college to Rowan to complete their degree paths and achieve their professional goals.
Michelle completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and obtained her Masters in Higher Education in an online program at Drexel University. In addition, Michelle is part of the Career Advocate team at Rowan and is a Certified Career Services Provider through the National Career Development Association.
