Academic Advising
Academic advising is a collaborative relationship between you and your academic advisor to develop educational goals that are consistent with your personal interests, values and abilities. Please view the Academic Advising Syllabus to understand your role in an effective advising relationship. Your academic advisor is available to meet with you on an individual basis to review your academic plans and explore careers.
Schedule an Advising Appointment
Your academic advisor is ready to help you. You can schedule an advising appointment with your advisor through the Rowan Success Network (RSN). If you need help scheduling an appointment, please call the University Advising Center at 856-256-4459 and leave a message. You can also email your advisor directly or email advise@rowan.edu
Career Exploration
Unsure of your future major/career? FOCUS 2 is an online, interactive career and education planning system that combines self-assessment, career exploration and decision making into one comprehensive program. As a Rowan University student, you are invited to create an account with FOCUS 2. You will need to use the following access code: PROFS.

Incoming First-Year Students
Plan to meet with your advisor at least once per semester to make sure you stay on track for degree completion.
