About STEAM Academy

Mission

Rowan University's STEAM Academy is dedicated to educating and empowering high-achieving students through a dynamic summer program. Our mission is to create diverse pathways to higher education, accommodating students with varied abilities, interests, and backgrounds. We are committed to delivering purposeful and engaging educational experiences while valuing and embracing the unique perspectives of all participants.

STEM + Art = STEAM

Open to rising 7th–12th grade students, Rowan’s STEAM Academy offers instruction from University faculty across STEM and arts disciplines, helping students explore their interests and prepare for success in college and future careers.

The program is organized by grade level, placing students into one of three groups: Voyagers (rising grades 7–9), Navigators (rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors), and Pathfinders, an advanced research-focused track for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
