What do you do for SPM?
I’m a digital strategist for SPM. I like to get involved in a variety of projects and help out colleagues whenever I can. I help assess issues, plan content, take photos, build websites, create graphics, solve problems, and fix whatever’s broken.
Why do you work at Rowan?
I work at Rowan because I really like owls. My alma mater’s mascot is also an owl, so working here feels like I’ve come full circle. Anassa kata!
Superpowers at work:
Getting things done. I’m not afraid to learn new things or try out new ideas.
Superpowers outside of work:
Lifting heavy objects. I’ve been a weight-lifter since middle school and once won a squatting competition with a 310 lb. one rep max.
Best advice you've ever received:
“Listen in order to be heard.” - I have a binary code version of this saying tattooed on my arm!
What do you do for fun?
I do CrossFit and I’m almost in a rock band.
If you didn't work in technology, what would you be doing?
Sports stuff! I have a master’s degree in Sports Leadership and used to work in the Philadelphia Eagles front office. Go birds!

What do you do for SPM?
I find and develop unique ways to leverage technology to achieve business goals.
Why do you work at Rowan?
Initially I found the atmosphere one of education and excitement but as my role grew and I was exposed to more of the inner workings, I found myself being even more personally engaged in achieving our project goals. Simply put, I want to make things better here!
Superpowers at work:
Being able to achieve those business goals stated above, in the most realistic and uncomplicated way – never forgetting the true goal of a project. Lets get it done!
Superpowers outside of work:
I can build/fix most things: Cars, appliances, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, woodworking etc. Specifically, I can make magic happen with very little. Once, I managed to plug a large hole in my tire on the NJ turnpike with a Leatherman, a lighter and some zip ties. If you don’t have it, make it.
Best advice you've ever received:
Don't engage in a debate unless you're 99% sure you're right. – My Grandfather.
What do you do for fun?
I spend as much time outside as possible, hiking, camping, sports. When I'm inside, I'm usually working on the house or helping a friend or family member with theirs!
If you didn't work in technology, what would you be doing?
I'd probably be working in the outdoors industry, whether it be for REI, or starting my own company. That or building/fixing things.
