Pride Golf Cart- Follow us @RowanSJICR to find our where our Pride Golf Cart will be parked from 12-2 PM for all of April! Come on out, take some picks, pick up some Pride swag, and help us celebrate Rowan's Pride Month!
 
4/1- 4th Annual Rainbow Illumination @ 7:00pm: Join us for the 4th Annual Rainbow Illumination of Bunce Hall to celebrate Pride Month at Rowan and show our support to our LGBTQIA+ community on IG @RowanHCI
 
4/3- National Find a Rainbow Day @ 9:00pm: Looking for a chance to unwind? Stop by RAH tonight to relax with watercolor painting and customize your own corkboards. Don't forget to pick up and stuff your own unicorns and rainbow plushes!
 
4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28- I Am Asian @ 10:00am: Join us as we continue to have our weekly supportive space to have REAL conversation. I Am Asian is a support group for Rowan students to discuss the struggles and joys related to being Asian-American. This support group will have discussion about: identity, stigma, traditional versus modern culture, family, relationships, pride, dealing with expectations, finding your purpose, values, managing perfectionism, pride, love, cultivating gratitude, and more. 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28- Queer Collective @ 11:00am: The Queer Collective is a space for students who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community. It allows students and allies to build community, lend support, and create connections with one another. Link.
 
4/8- Thinkfast: GAYpril Edition @ 9:00pm: Looking to win some cash prizes? ThinkFast’s quick pace gameshow will challenge you and your friends to keep up and think faster while answering our special LGBTQIA+ Pride trivia. ThinkFast can be played as an individual or in groups. Register.
 
4/9- RAH Celebrates Pride! @ 9:00pm: RAH’s Gaypril weekend continues with our Rowan Pride Night celebration! Dress up in your best pride-inspired gear and get extra chances to win our awesome raffle prizes throughout the night. Check out our DIY custom wooden pride signs. And screen print your own custom accessories to get ready for June!

4/13- Illuminate with Kate @ 5:00pm: Kate Bornstein is a trans-trailblazer whose humor and spark has ushered us into a world of limitless possibilities through a daring re-envisioning of gender as we know it. Register.
 
4/14- Corann Okorodudu Inaugural Africana Studies Lecture Series @ 5:00pm: The Africana Studies program will host its inaugural Corann Okorodudu Africana Studies Lecture Series on Wednesday, April 14 at 5:00 p.m. to honor her legacy and service. To register email CINDS@rowan.edu
 
4/15- Love All and Hate None: Chinese Cultural Values and Devotion to Common Good and Collective Wellbeing @ 2:00pm: When ancient Chinese scholar created the written character love “仁”, it depicts two people standing up, conveying the message that love helps human rise from its primitive beginnings. I-Ching (The Book of Change), a two-thousand-year-old Chinese philosophical book, said, “Rich virtue is what keeps all things afloat”(厚德载物).  Around five hundred B.C. Confucius said, “The creator created lives out of love”(上天有好生之德). These teachings laid down the fundamental cultural value that “love is to be human” (仁者爱人) and promoted the devotion to the common good and collective wellbeing of humanity. Zoom. 
 
4/15- Church in the Woods @ 4:00pm: Church in the Woods is a worship service honoring the LGBTQIA+ community and Pride Month. This will be a hybrid event with a Zoom livestream for people who want to attend virtually and potentially an in-person component at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Glassboro, NJ (across the street from Holly Pointe and next to Landmark) pending EOT approval. 4/16- Phillipa Soo In Concert @ 8:00pm: Join the College of Performing Arts as we come together virtually for this intimate performance with Hamilton star and Tony nominee, Phillipa Soo, recorded live on stage from New York's Theater District, in the heart of Times Square, exclusively for Rowan University. 4/21- Speaker Series: Lela Lee @ 4:30pm: Lela Lee is a cartoonist, actress and writer whose experiences as a woman of color and as a child of immigrants in America intersect to create an identity that is layered by race, gender, culture, and traditions old and new. Her work often investigates where a collective culture creates contradictions with the new generation who want to individuate but still belong. Register.
 
4/30- Queer Eye Watch Party @ 8:00pm: TEC@RU will be hosting a watch party event on Netflix of the season 2 premiere of Queer Eye: "God Bless Gay". Registration is required in order to receive the Netflix Party link. Register.
