Possesses excellent management, supervisory, interpersonal, and program development/coordination skills. Trained in social diversity, social equity awareness, and intergroup dialogue facilitation. Experienced in working with students of color, lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender students, second language learners, students in need of developmental education, adult/nontraditional students, students with learning or physical disabilities, and honors students.

Flora Ruli is pursuing a master’s degree in the Counseling in Educational Settings Program with a concentration in Higher Education. She graduated from Rowan University with a BA in Communication Studies, a minor in English, and concentrations in Women’s and Gender Studies and Africana Studies. In recognizing that environments may not be nurturing or conducive to harboring individuality or the expression of one’s self, she wants to create spaces where students feel safe enough to explore and begin to understand their identities. She aspires to act as a multiculturally competent ally and advocate by serving as a higher education professional.
