RU Art Gallery & Museum Opening Reception: Folding Time |
Rowan University Art Gallery & Museum is excited to announce Folding Time, a solo exhibition of Wendel White’s photographic works. Wendel White is a renowned photographer known for focusing on Black history and the legacy of slavery through his foundational projects: Schools for the Colored, Red Summer, and Manifest. The exhibition will open on September 3rd and be on view through October 26th, with an opening reception and artist talk on September 12th from 5-7pm. The artist's talk begins at 5:30pm. Hillel Mental Health Night |
Join Hillel on 11/8 for Mental Health Night. For our students and members, it has been a long and challenging year. But we are always here on campus to help and support our members. This evening of support and encouragement is not, however, going to be just a normal chill and chat type spiel. We are very pleased to announce that we will have Therapy Dogs present during Mental Health Night Courtesy of our friends at the Schrieber Family Pet Therapy Program. The program’s assistant director Michelle Pich will also be present to provide a brief presentation on the benefits of Pet Therapy. It's going to be an amazing evening! Jewish Identity and You: A Conversation with Marc Cohen |
Meet Marc Cohen, Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs International Vice President of Regions (FJMC). An Educator, Marc has recieved Holocaust Education Training in Jerusalem from Yad VaShem. Marc has served in several offices in the Middle Atlantic Region and is currently in his second stint at FJMC International. Mr. Cohen will be talking to students about their Jewish Identity during this time in history and what life is like on and off camous. He will also discuss what Jewish Life is like after college.
