Confidential Resources
Rowan University community members have access to the following confidential resources on each campus:
- Glassboro/Camden Campus students: Confidential and emergency support services are available to students on the Glassboro campus at the Wellness Center - Rowan's Counseling and Psychological Services (Winans Hall or call 856-256-4333).
- CMSRU Medical students: Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) has partnered with the Rutgers University - Student Wellness Program (SWP) to provide confidential counseling services.
- Virtua Health College of Medicine & Life Sciences students: Confidential counseling services are available by dialing (856) 566-7175. For more info go to Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine: Health and Wellness.
- Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine students: The Associate Director of Counseling and Well-being is available for confidential counseling at 856-256-5953.
- Rowan Employees: If you are an employee and in need of confidential counseling services, contact the State of NJ Employee Advisory Service (EAS). EAS provides confidential assessment, counseling and referral services.
Non-Confidential Resources
The Office of Student Equity and Compliance is the first point of contact for assitance with reporting. OSEC also has designation point-of-contacts from various departments and campuses to assist with reporting. These contacts are non-confidential resources:

Supportive Measures
What are Supportive Measures?
Under the Regulations, the Title IX Coordinator is responsible for the effective implementation of supportive measures. Defined under regulation as, free, non-disciplinary, and non-punitive services offered to complainants and respondents under Title IX. They are designed to preserve or restore equal access to education, protect the safety of all parties and the campus environment, and prevent further harassment.
Supportive measures can be implemented, regardless of the incident falling under TItle IX, Student Sexual Misconduct, and/or Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation policies.
Supportive measures may include:
- Mutual No-Contact Directives
- Counseling
- Extensions of deadlines or other course-related adjustments
- Modifications of work or class schedules
- Campus escort services
- Housing changes or work location changes
- Leaves of absence
- Increased security and monitor of certain areas of the campus
