Meet, Lauren!

Lauren D'Ascenzo (Pollara) is the Assistant Director of International Admissions at Rowan University. While Lauren advises prospective international students through their admissions process, she also manages the development and execution of strategic outreach to international students, including recruitment communication and marketing initiatives.

Lauren graduated cum laude from Monmouth University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication-Public Relations, Business Marketing and Graphic Design. In 2021, she also completed her Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration here at Rowan finishing magna cum laude.

Lauren is a dedicated admissions counselor who makes a tangible impact on students' lives. "One time a student stopped me. She said, 'You probably don’t remember me, but you made all the difference in my attending here. You took extra time and helped me understand the curriculum and what it was like at Rowan University. Now I love it here and I’m doing really well. I tell everyone that I came here because one person took the time to help me.'"
