Meet, Jeff!

Jeffrey Hopkins is an International Admissions Counselor at Rowan University. Jeff provides professional knowledge, advice and counseling to international students throughout the application process. 

Jeff is an alum from Rowan University, earning two Bachelor of Science degrees – Business Management and Human Resource Management – in 2013 graduating cum laude. Jeff had previously worked at Rowan university in the IRB as a Research Compliance Specialist before joining the International Admissions team.

His favorite spot on campus is Rowan Boulevard. If you’re searching for a place to grab a bite or somewhere to go with friends, Rowan Boulevard is a one-third mile strip built for students and Glassboro residents featuring local and familiar restaurants, entertainment and shopping along with on-campus housing and academic buildings. When time permits, you must try Cookie Munchers. This local sweet spot was started by two of our business alumni, and today they continue to grow the business with multiple locations! Also on the Boulevard, you can find Rowan’s Welcome Center, an information hub for prospective students and their families.

What advice would Jeff give to prospective international students? He recommends that you submit all of the required checklist items as soon as possible if you want to get a speedy decision – be sure to check your emails as well!
