With its fourth name in seven decades announced, the institution takes the next step in its evolution. Many publications, including stationery and student recruitment literature had already been produced in early summer, so college staff designed stickers to mark the shift from Glassboro State College to Rowan College of New Jersey. The circular designs appeared on catalogues, viewbooks, packages and more.
After the hurried transition, ads and brochures promoted the new identity and a new logo went into use with a nod to GSC's past and its Rowan future.
