Retired geography Professor Marvin Creamer '43 sails around the world in 510 days aboard the 36-foot Globe Star without the use of navigational equipment—guided only by the stars, wind and water currents. He sets out from Cape May on December 21, 1982 and returns on May 18, 1984. He is the only person known to attempt or accomplish such a feat.
