Reported in the 1981 Image yearbook, "Consumer Advocate Ralph Nader launched an attack on big business and oil companies, from the student center ballroom in November. The main topic of his discussion was the oil monopolies versus the energy consumers. He stated that by the year 2030, this country could be totally converted into solar energy power." It was Nader's second thought-provoking visit to GSC.
