In 1946, Glassboro started a two-year junior college program to enroll veterans. Under the new G.I. Bill of Rights, the federal government subsidized education to provide career paths for those who had served. During the GSC program's three-year run, most veterans studied new curricula in pre-engineering and business administration, while some chose the new junior high teaching option.
