Mother's Day traditions on campus included a tea and balloon game in 1940. Daughters invited their mothers and made paper corsages like the one above from 1937. From the 1943 invitation: "Mother's Day Tea on the ninth of May will be for you an enjoyable day. The fun begins at half past two—a lovely spring program will be given for you."
