Dorothy Albrecht '25 purchased shares in the Normal School's Student and Alumni Camping Association, which gave her access to Camp Savitz for leisure. As they neared the finish line for paying off their debt, students and alumni held a mock "burning of the mortgage" ceremony in 1936. Alumni told of humorous ways in which they had raised funds for camp.
