Please explain the work that will be required of the intern: Answer phones, research, write letters, organizing projects

Will there be opportunities for the intern to observe: YES, if in session and held in person

    Internal strategy sessions?    Legislative sessions? X   Committee hearings? X

Is the intern expected to work evenings and weekends? If so, please explain. Typically we have interns help out at parades, fairs and festivals that are scheduled on weekends. However, due to the pandemic, most in-person events have been cancelled. In the event that weekend events are scheduled over the summer, we would determine participation on a case-by-case basis.
