What is the application process? To apply, students may submit a copy of their resume, cover letter, and list of references (minimum 2) to our Chief of Staff via email with the subject heading "2019 Summer Internship Application". All Applications will be equally considered.

Please explain the work that will be required of the intern:
During the summer, the New Jersey Legislature is not in session. However, we utilize this time to prepare for the fall sessions, connect further with constituents via outreach programs, and more. We truly rely on the creativity of our summer interns to develop new outreach programs and ideas to connect with constituents. Futhermore, during this time, interns wil be responsible for managing constituent tracking, the most crucial part of our office. An ideal candidate will be hard working, driven, interested in social outreach and politics, and able work well both independently and in group settings. This position does require basic computer skills. (Microsoft word use, email, and date entry).
Will there be opportunities for the intern to observe:
