Please explain the work that will be required of the intern:
Interns in the legislative office will participate in constituent service and local community outreach activities (if resumed in person). They will also have the opportunity to actively engage in the legislative process by working on policy initiatives and utilize writing Skills to craft responses to constituent inquiries.

While our office hours are 9-5 Mon through Fri, there are sometimes virtual/ or in-person events on the evenings and weekends that interns may be asked to assist with.
Do you have any suggestions for the applicant?
Strong writing and communications skills are necessary. Internships are not compensated, but qualify for college course credit at most institutions of higher education.
