What is the application process? 

Applicants will need to provide their resume along with a completed version of the attached internship application. Applicants will also be expected to have an interview with the intern coordinator.

Intern work areas:

                               ✔  Clerical         ✔  Research        Errands        ✔ Organizing

Please explain the work that will be required of the intern:

Interns will be expected to complete a range of tasks. Interns will help the Administrative Director with completing commendations and citations for community events. They will also have the opportunity to write policy memos for the Legislative Director. There will also be administrative tasks to assist with.

Will there be opportunities for the intern to observe:

               Strategy sessions?        ✔  Legislative sessions?       ✔ Committee Hearings?

 

Is the intern expected to work evenings and weekends?           Yes      ✔  No

 

If yes, please explain. Only if they would like to attend events on the weekends or at night with the Senator nd Assemblymen.
