Anyone interested should send their resume to info@jersey1st.org. in the subject line please put Summer Internship, last Name. The deadline to apply is April 28th. Applicants are still able to apply after the deadline, however, they may not be accepted.
Intern work areas: Clerical X Research X Errands Organizing
Please explain the work that will be required of the intern: Depending on skill sets, Interns could be managing our social media calendar or doing research in a team on certain policies/ key issues in NJ. There is an option for students who are in PR/Communications to write articles/ Letters to the editor.
Will there be opportunities for the intern to observe:
Internal strategy sessions? X Legislative sessions? Committee hearings?
Is the intern expected to work evenings and weekends? If so, please explain.
Interns are not expected to work evenings or weekends. There is the opportunity to attend events and fairs that might take place on weekends/evenings and is encouraged to attend but voluntary.
