What are your office’s requirements regarding COVID-19 vaccination status, mask wearing, etc.? Depending on the position, a lot of the work is done online, however when we work in person we practice social distancing and mask wearing at all times.

Fill out google form, and then one of the campaign interns will interview the applicant and make recommendations to the candidate for Governor.

Please explain the work that will be required of the intern: There are multiple openings for interns in the campaign. Canvassing and phone banking are what we are looking for most at the moment. Canvassing is going door to door (with a partner) and talking to the residents about the campaign, while phone banking is making phone calls to convince NJ residents to vote for the candidate. From writing op-eds to creating research reports to aiding in getting endorsements to helping out with the campaign’s growing social media presence, there is a position to fit your individual skill.
Will there be opportunities for the intern to observe:
Internal strategy sessions? yes Legislative sessions? Committee hearings?
Is the intern expected to work evenings and weekends? If so, please explain. Yes, since the majority of the campaign works during the day or is a full time student, most of the meetings are in the evenings while most of the events are on the weekends. Interns will go to weekly meetings at 7 PM on Wednesdays.
