Intern work areas: Clerical Research Errands Organizing
Please explain the work that will be required of the intern:
Work will vary greatly day-by-day. Interns will research different legislatiuve affairs, ongoing news, details to support upcoming legislation, etc. Interns are tasked with different organization/clerical work which may be needed in the office.
Will there be opportunities for the intern to observe:
Internal strategy sessions? X Legislative sessions? Committee hearings? X
Is the intern expected to work evenings and weekends? If so, please explain.
Not expected, but preferred on an as-needed basis. It would be great to have interns at various events e.g. parades to support the assemblyman.
What are your current COVID-19 workplace requirements? (We recognize that these can change at any moment.)
No masks needed if fully vaccinated.

Have a flexible schedule! Things can always change in the legislature, so a flexible schedule is key, including means of transportation to get to-and-from the office and possible other locations.
