Please explain the work that will be required of the intern:  The intern will be asked to perform various tasks depending on their comfort level, including constituent outreach, voting session attendance, social media posting, bill research and more. We like to see what the intern is interested in and base the internship around that.

Is the intern expected to work evenings and weekends?  If so, please explain.  It is not expected, but it will be offered. We will give the intern the choice to attend night and weekend events with another staffer. They will not be relied upon for this.

We do not have any requirements. There is a mask requirement at the statehouse, but no longer a vaccine mandate.

We love people who are eager to learn new things and have an interest in turning local issues into government solutions. When you are here, you are part of the team, so don’t be afraid to ask questions or ask for help.
