Is there some type of salary or stipend?    Yes

If so, how much? At an average rate of 3 valid signatures per hour, the average compensation is $30 per hour, while top canvassers will earn more.

Please explain the work that will be required of the intern: 

Food & Water Watch is in the final stretch of a signature collection drive to put community choice aggregation (CCA) ordinances on the ballot in Cherry Hill, Teaneck, Woodbridge, Long Branch, and North Brunswick, NJ. We urgently need to collect another 5,000 signatures by July 15, so we’re paying $10 per valid signature collected. And we'll be hiring for this position through July 1st.  

 

Will there be opportunities for the intern to observe: 

 

Internal strategy sessions?       Legislative sessions?            Committee hearings? 

 

Is the intern expected to work evenings and weekends?  If so, please explain.
