What is Title IX?

Title IX prohibits all forms of sex and/or gender-based discrimination, such as: sexual harassment, sexual violence, acts of verbal/non-verbal/physical aggression, intimidation, or hostility based on sex or sex-stereotyping. Title IX protects all students and employees, regardless of sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.

What is the Title IX Repository?

The repository is an ongoing collection of academic work by Rowan faculty, staff, and students relating to Title IX. To access full-text journal articles, conference presentations, and other materials log in to the secure area using your Rowan username and password. Title IX related research contributions include a wide range of topics, including: sex and gender-based discrimination, sexual violence, institutional response, fostering healthy relationships, cyberbullying, and communication strategies.
